It was the honor of a lifetime for Sam Torres and I to have been recognized with the inaugural Community Artist Award last night at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall’s 150th anniversary gala... Cheers to the next 150 years!

What a joy and surprise to have been nominated three times for the Eddies Awards this year, in two categories! The Eddies Awards is a regional award show that highlights our local music community.

In a delightful and funny turn, I’ve been nominated for Best Classical Artist, amongst such luminaries as the multiple Grammy-winning Albany Symphony Orchestra.

My partner and I have also been nominated twice in the Concert Series of the Year for our work curating the Lift Series at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, as well as the series we host in our home, Troy Listening Room.

The fifth season of the Lift Series - a series that Sam Torres and I founded and curate, taking place at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall - has sold out its entire run of shows this year! Not only that, each show sold out weeks in advance. I’m endlessly proud of this small but mighty series and the beautiful community that has grown around it. There’s one more show on March 5 with The Ladles!
