What a joy and surprise to have been nominated three times for the Eddies Awards this year, in two categories! The Eddies Awards is a regional award show that highlights our local music community.

In a delightful and funny turn, I’ve been nominated for Best Classical Artist, amongst such luminaries as the multiple Grammy-winning Albany Symphony Orchestra.

3.2.25 Who is Sova?

a tender announcement

“Not a day goes by that I don’t think about how I can live into the potential of my given name. Sova will be another reminder. It’s not a turning away from who I am, rather, it’s a conscious decision to choose who I am.”

2.25.25 Fifth Season of the Lift Series Sells Out

The fifth season of the Lift Series - a series that Sam Torres and I founded and curate, taking place at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall - has sold out its entire run of shows this year! There’s one more show on March 5 with The Ladles!

9.6.24 I want to be a pianist with great hair
